The Hautes-Alpes region is particularly favourable to the production of quality pears.
 
The season starts at the beginning of September with White Williams pears and Red Williams pears.
In continual production, Louise-Bonne, Doyenne du Comice, Conference, and Passe-Crassane varieties take us through to March.
We are striving to see that the consumer rediscovers this fruit.
 
The introduction of “ready to eat” pears in 2 or 4 fruits punnets is a first step.
