The rotational grazing

We offer high-quality pastures to farmers and shepherds free of charge.

Inspired by rotational grazing, our pastures and meadows are plant mixtures designed to provide better nutrition to animals and improve soil health.

Rotational grazing involves moving animals through small parcels of land. Only one parcel is grazed at a time, while the rest “rests.” The rest period allows for forage plants to recover and develop deeper root growth. This method promotes soil health and fertility by increasing biomass and allowing carbon sequestration rather than releasing it into the atmosphere.

This partnership is a win-win:

Grazing animals contribute to the nutrient cycle in the soil. Their manure, rich in microbiota (microorganisms from their digestive system), enhances microbial activity in the soil and increases nutrients available to plants. Natural soil fertility is reinforced, reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers.

Grazing animals play a role in ecological balance in the area. Their presence promotes diverse natural habitats, attracting a multitude of beneficial insects, birds, and other organisms. This diversity supports natural pest regulation and contributes to a more harmonious ecosystem.
